How to Deliver a Killer 60-Second Pitch

    Blog Hero

Your 60-second presentation is your weekly opportunity to train your sales team. Here's how to make it count and ensure your message sticks with the other members long after the meeting ends.

    1. Start with a Hook

Don't just state your name and profession. Start with a question, a surprising statistic, or a brief story that immediately grabs attention. You want people listening, not checking their phones.

    2. Be Specific

"Anyone who needs a website" is a terrible referral request. "Marketing directors at manufacturing companies in Leicester with 10-50 employees" is a great one. Specificity gives your fellow members a clear target to look out for.

    3. Use the LCD (Lowest Common Denominator)

Break your business down into its smallest components. Don't try to sell everything you do in 60 seconds. Focus on one specific product, service, or target market each week. Over a year, you'll have educated the room on your entire business.

    4. End with a Clear Call to Action

What exactly do you want people to do? Who do you want them to introduce you to? Make it crystal clear before you sit down.

"A confused mind says no. Keep your pitch simple, specific, and memorable."
